Breathe in Harmony:

Nourishing Your Soul's Rhythm with Autumn's Whispers

Hi! How are you?

I hope that you enjoy my brief chat and introduction to Box Breath or Sama Vritti Pranayama. I am currently using it as I rest and heal my little broken pinky toe. This breath technique uses equal breath counts as a way to soothe and ground you.

It is a wonderful practice to incorporate into the Autumn season to help connect to the balance of light and dark.

Box Breath Technique

  1. Inhale slowly through the nose for a count of four

  2. Hold your breath for a count of four

  3. Exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of four

  4. Hold the exhalation for a count of four 

* You can increase the count, making sure not to strain to hold the breath

Ingredients:

  • 4 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

  • 5 drops Patchouli Essential Oil

  • 5 Cedarwood Essential Oil

  • 2 drops Vetiver Essential Oil

Add the carrier oil:

Pour the carrier oil into the bottle, covering the essential oils

* Sweet almond, sunflower, jojoba or apricot oil are all nice options
