Rooted with Grandmother Tree:

A Return to Breath, Presence & Loving Kindness

Guided Meditation Honoring Beltane

Hi!

How are you?

As I flip the calendar page to May, I honor and celebrate Beltane using my trusty wall calendar. This ancient Celtic festival is midway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. Historically, it was a fire festival honoring fertility, protection, and the return of the sun’s strength. Communities would light sacred bonfires and celebrate with dancing, feasting, and rituals of union and vitality.

Beltane continues to be honored as a time to witness the Earth’s fertile energy and the display of blossoming life and abundance. Aligned with the Taurus season, it invites you to ground deeply in Nature, connect to the sensual pleasures of the physical world, and align with the rhythms of the land.

Stepping outside to witness the daily changes in the environment around you is a simple yet meaningful way to honor and celebrate Beltane. I wrote a Beltane letter two years ago, if you want more ideas. 🔥

Grandmother Tree

Today, I wandered outside to sit underneath Grandmother Tree, the old oak tree standing tall out back. Resting my back on her trunk, I settled into my seat and allowed her to hold me.

Care to join me?

I invite you to step away from your day to turn within.

Come Home…to Yourself

I hope you carry this sense of steadiness, of being anchored like the Earth, with you through your day.

You are rooted.
You are resilient.
You are ready.

Talk to you soon!
