Hi Blythe!

I enjoyed reading about all the scenes and events that you and your hubby enjoyed during your recent trip to Italy. The simple ways that you listed to embody Dolce Far Niente were excellent reminders for all of us North Americans to slow down a tad during our busy hectic lives and "smell the flowers", as the old saying goes - especially after that controversial election that your country just experienced, which has impacted many, for good or for bad, both in the US and elsewhere in the world.

Take care of those bodily aches and pains that you're currently experiencing and I'll do the same with mine. 😉

Hi Rob! Thanks for reaching out with your thoughts. I think that is what I appreciate about traveling and seeing how other people live. It fascinates me, and it brings up so many comments and questions. I do think many of us in NA could benefit from slowing down to really take part in our lives. It's a nice reminder to "smell the flowers" and be grateful for what we do have. My attitude lately is to take time to nourish my mind, body and soul in order to create and share from a heart centered place. That is my aim. To combat the hate and fear that some people feel. ❤️ Rest up.

Thanks for your reply Blythe. I do indeed plan to rest up a lot over this weekend before venturing outside next week to start doing a little yard work raking up the leaves which are falling like crazy around here.

I just finished reading (and watching) your latest Whispers from the Wood. Here's wishing you an enjoyable trip visiting with your mother-in-law this coming week. Like your newsletter here, which I post comments to, I do enjoy regularly reading your Whispers from the Wood postings. I've been wondering for awhile though if there is any way to post comments in your Whispers postings like I can post here in this newsletter?
