Good morning! I am noticing that moving my body in the morning is helping me maintain focus and momentum throughout the day. I am observing that I feel brighter and happier when I walk. Heading out now to walk the local track!
Good afternoon Blythe! I trust that you had an enjoyable walk this morning. I'm a morning person, always have been, the earlier the better, because at that time it's always peaceful and I find that I can accomplish more things than at any other time of day. By early evening I'm mentally coasting and relaxing but in the early mornings I'm very observant, energetic and productive, both mentally as well as physically.
If there is one area that I need to be more observant it's at those times when I'm around others whose life cycles are at polar opposites to mine, like my brother who is a confirmed night hawk. :-)
It's great to meet another early riser. I used to be the first one up at sleepovers and even in college. I called my mom and took the phone (with a long cord) outside the room and chatted in the hallway. I am done by the afternoon and in bed by 9ish. I love going to bed early just to get up in the morning to greet the sun! My son is a night hawk too. It makes it extra challenging to go anywhere in the morning.
